Mercy's Speech Pathology Department provides services for the following conditions:

- Adult Swallowing Disorders
- Cleft Palate
- Cognitive Disorders
- Fluency - Adult and Child
- Laryngectomy
- Neurologic Disorders
- Orofacial Myology/Tongue Thrust
- Patient and Family Education
- Pediatric/Adolescent Articulation and Language
- Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing
- Small Talk Summer Speech Camp
- Video Swallow Study
All patients are seen for an initial evaluation upon referral from the physician. If you are interested in other pediatric/child rehabilitation services, please call 641.422.7498. Treatment and goals are established based upon the outcome of the evaluation. Physicians receive copies of the evaluation and monthly progress reports.
