Our Role In Patient Education
The patient and family are provided education and information to expand their knowledge of their condition and to enable them to meet their health care needs and make appropriate decisions.
Family & Patient Centered Care
The pediatric staff strives to create a supportive and safe environment for you and your child. We support involvement of parents and family members in the care of the child. We ask the cooperation of family members to meet the following goals:
- Coordinate visitors and patient care during child's hospitalization.
- Reduce risk of infection for child
- Provide privacy and security for child
- Provide quiet time for the child and parent(s) to rest and recover
