Cardiac/Medical Step-Down Unit – 6 West
Located in the west wing of the 6th floor, the Cardiac/Medical Step-Down unit contains 37 beds and provides care to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This unit provides specialized cardiac, medical and surgical care, including management of hi-tech treatment modalities.
Cardiac patients who are transferred from CVRU following heart surgery will have visitors limited to the immediate family during the early postoperative period.
