Physical Therapy is skilled treatment that helps individuals achieve independence in all facets of their lives. Physical Therapy provides training, education and direct treatment for musuloskeletal and neurological deficits to acheive maximum work, recreation and personal life functions. Some of the health conditions that benefit from physical therapy include:
- Back, neck and pelvis injuries
- Arm and shoulder injuries
- Post-surgical rehabilitation
- Work-related injuries/over use syndromes/tendonitis
- Limitations following a stoke or heart attack
- Arthritis, multiple sclerosis, or other serious chronic conditions
- Pediatric and/or infant learning problems or developmental disabilities
- Spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries
- Athletic sports-related injuries
- New hire and return to work testing and evaluations

- Aquatic therapy
- Gait training and analysis
- Running analysis
- Transcutaneous nerve stimulation
- Lumbrosacral supports
- Lymphedema/edema management
- Neuromuscular rehabilitation
- Infant/pediatric/adolescent rehabilitation
- Business/industry work safety solutions
- Back strengthening
- Sports medicine
- Basic foot orthotics
- Physical therapy for the pulmonary patient
- Balance and/or vestibular rehabilitation
- Continence treatment/biofeedback
- Mastectomy and compression garments
All patients are seen for an initial evaluation upon referral from the physician. Physical Therapy services also are provided in the Inpatient Rehabiliation Unit, Skilled Nursing Unit and acute hospital setting. Treatment and goals are established based upon the outcome of the evaluation. Each patients plan of care is established in coordination with the referring provider.
Referrals - Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
