Mercy Long Term Care (LTC) Pharmacy is qualified as a “closed shop” pharmacy. (We are not open to the general public.) Therefore, our pharmaceutical services are dedicated to the senior population and other individuals residing in a variety of environments including nursing facilities, residential facilities, assisted living and hospice.
The dedicated staff at Mercy Long Term Care Pharmacy has been providing care to North Iowa residents for more than 25 years.
Mercy LTC Pharmacy provides medications to our special clients in many ways:
- Weekly color-coded cassettes
- Weekly or monthly blister cards
- Medication self-medication boxes
- Prescription vials
- We provide free delivery of medications and supplies.
- We provide emergency pharmaceutical services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
- We monitor medication profiles for drug interactions, allergies, and cost-effective therapy.
Mercy LTC Pharmacy has a staff of registered pharmacists who provide consulting services to contracted areas facilities in addition to our medication dispensing services.
Our consultant pharmacists regularly evaluate each patient in the contracted facility. We make recommendations to the facility and physician to ensure safe and effective medication therapy for an improved quality of life.
We care about the cost of medication therapy.
Medications have value only when these produce the desired outcomes for your. Even the least expensive drug can have a high cost if it creates a drug related problem.

of pharmaceutical care, in coordination with other health-care providers,
that promotes health, healing and the well being of those we serve
via efficient and effective medication use processes. We are committed
