Midlands Choice
Midlands Choice is one of the Midwest's preeminent preferred-provider organizations (PPOs) with a network of more than 18,000 physicians and other licensed healthcare professionals, 300 hospitals, and nearly 1300 ancillary healthcare providers. The core network spans Nebraska, Iowa and eastern South Dakota, with providers in portions of adjoining states including Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
Midlands Choice contracts with providers who offer discounts on healthcare services to members of about 140 insurance companies, third-party administrators (TPAs), and other organizations they call their "payers".

The MC Membership Credentials Committee meets on the second Wednesday of each month. Providers submitted for membership through a delegated credentialing arrangement are entered into the Midlands Choice database and made effective on that date. All provider information must be presented to and reviewed by the Membership Credentials Committee. Our information must be submitted to them by noon the day before this meeting.
