Mercy Announces Plans to Open Dermatology Center
MASON CITY -- Leaders of Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa are excited to announce that the two Mercy Dermatology clinics – Mercy Dermatology – Dr. Karkos and Mercy Dermatology – Dr. Plank - will be consolidated into one new dermatology center that will open this October.
The new clinic, which will be named Mercy Dermatology Center, will be located on 1421 4th Street SW, the former location of Stadheim Jewelers. This is conveniently located near Mercy Cheslea Creek. Design and re-modeling of the new space has begun.
“Combining the clinics will allow for growth of the dermatology clinic by developing a better recruitment platform and clinical space to expand into other services,” said Kim Price, Vice President, Physician Support Services, Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa.
Physicians and providers of the two Mercy Dermatology Clinics are: C. Joseph Plank M.D.; James Karkos M.D.; Tanusin Ploysangam, M.D.; Lisa Hedrick, PA-C; and Kim Larson, ARNP.
