Mission Statement: Hospice of North Iowa provides compassionate care for all those affected by end of life.
A non-profit organization serving ten counties in North Central Iowa since 1982.
Services include medical and nursing care, emotional and spiritual counseling, hospice aide services, volunteer services and bereavement follow-up.
Other members of the hospice team include psychologists, dieticians, pharmacists, and music and massage therapists.
Hospice of North Iowa is a health care program that supports patients and their families in caring for their loved ones. Hospice care does not cure the disease, but provides comfort and relief from pain and other symptoms. People of all ages in the last months of life and with any disease may receive hospice care.
Palliative medicine provides care that aims to relieve suffering and enhance quality of life for patients and their families with significant illness.
