#MercyNorthIowaHeart Photo Contest Rules

To enter:
To submit your heart-themed photo for the #MercyNorthIowaHeart Photo Contest, you must be a member of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest. Membership to these social networks is free. The Instagram application is only accessible through a mobile device. Use of each social network is subject to its applicable terms of use, terms of service and/or content policies.

 To enter, visit the social network site of your choosing and log in with your personal account information. Then, upload your original photo to your personal account and publicly tweet, share or pin it using the #mercynorthiowaheart hashtag or post it to Facebook with the tag @mercynorthiowa. In order for your submission to be included in the contest, you must include the  #mercynorthiowaheart hashtag (or @mercynorthiowa on Facebook only) and your photo must be public.   Photos submitted must be original photos.

Restrictions:

• The contest is only open to those individuals 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry.
• Photos shared must not contain material that violates or infringes another's rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement.
• Photos submitted must be original.
• Photos submitted must not contain inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous material(s).
• Photos submitted must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred, or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.

Disqualifications:

• Photo disqualification: any photo submitted that violates any of the described restrictions above will be disqualified and removed from the contest.
• Comment disqualification: any written comment(s) made on any photo submitted that violates any of the described restrictions above will be disqualified and removed from the contest and from public viewing.

Winning drawing: One winner will be selected at random Thursday, February 28, 2013 and will be notified Friday, March 1, 2013.

Publicity: A public announcement will be made after the winner is drawn, including the name of the winner and the winning photo. Acceptance of a prize constitutes consent to the use of the winner's name, submission photo, hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media without further consent or compensation.

Prize: One winner, drawn at random, will win a $100 Southbridge Mall gift certificate.

By participating in the #mercynorthiowaheart Photo Contest, entrant fully agrees to the contest rules stated above.
