Physical Therapy Care for Bariatric Surgery

Patients will be referred to the physical therapist before surgery as needed; individual therapy/counseling as needed; and will be monitored during their activity workout. If a patient meets criteria for assessment, it may be paid for by insurance with a doctor's prescription.

Sessions with the physical therapist will be held at Mercy - Cheslea Creek Rehabilitation Center, 1501 Fourth Street SW, Mason City.

We will expect a willingness to overcome physical barriers to exercise and keep moving.
