Mercy Diabetes Center providers and staff invite you to be their guest on a chartered bus ride to Des Moines to attend the Taking Control of Your Diabetes Conference and Health Fair on Saturday, September 22.

Transportation in addition to the program registration will be free to those who sign up with Mercy. Mercy has funds available from the Kohl’s Cares grant.

As a participant, you also will receive, free of charge, a breakfast snack on the bus ride, lunch at the program, a box-dinner on the bus and a t-shirt. You will be required to place a $10 deposit for each participant. You will get the deposit back once in route to Des Moines.If you choose not to attend, the $10 will not be refunded. Seating is limited, so first come, first served.

About the Program
Taking Control of Your Diabetes has assembled an all-star cast of diabetes experts, including Mercy Diabetes Center’s own Mark Johnson, M.D., for a day that will ignite motivation, offer hope, and change your life with diabetes forever. 

September 22 Schedule
6:30 a.m. - Leave from Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa’s West Campus, 910 North Eisenhower Avenue, Mason City

7:30 a.m. -  Register begins on site at The Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center, Des Moines

9:00 a.m. - Program breakout sessions throughout the day

5:00 p.m. - Adjourn; load charted bus for ride home
