I am originally from Northeast Iowa and went to Luther College where I graduated with a degree in biology. I attended medical school at Des Moines University. I chose this residency because of the exceptional training in rural medicine and the sense of community among the residents and their families. I love spending my free time with my wife and daughter, playing with our golden retriever, watching movies or sports, photography, and the outdoors.
