Heart Center
Mercy Heart Center is led by Mason City Clinic’s team of seven highly skilled cardiologists and a cardiac surgeon who take their patients’ welfare seriously and personally. The services provided by the Heart Center has generated national recognition for Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa as a Top 100 Cardiovascular Hospital; only 10 hospitals in the entire nation have received this award nine or more years.
Since opening in 1989, Mercy Heart Center has performed more than 5,200 open-heart surgeries and 40,000 cardiac cath lab procedures. The physicians and staff are committed to providing patient care that is compassionate, appropriate and effective for the treatment of cardiovascular disease and the promotion of good health.
