Our pharmacists spend approximately 70% of their time providing clinical patient care in a rotation working just every 5th weekend. Our pharmacists share in central pharmacy operational responsibilities with other acute care pharmacists.
Mercy Medical Center - North Iowa is a 346 bed teaching facility and regional referral center. Mercy serves a population base of 215,000 people, in a 14 county service area, offering a full range of services. We are centrally located in Mason City, Iowa, two hours from Minneapolis, MN or Des Moines, IA.The pharmacy department provides services across the continuum of care, with pharmacist involvement in:

Teaching opportunities exist through our affiliation with University of Iowa and Drake University Pharmacy Schools and our ASHP accredited Pharmacy Practice Residency Program.
Qualified candidates must possess a B.S. or PharmD degree from an accredited pharmacy program and be licensed or eligible for licensure in Iowa. Previous hospital experience and Residency training are preferred.
